Cook/Truswell Village Center Neighbours 

Dear Neighbours, This letter today is to introduce ourselves as the new owner of 3854 and 3858 Truswell Road. Our holding company, Simple Pursuits Inc., has purchased the two properties as of Oct. 19, 2026. 

Our short-term intention with the lots is to clean up the sites and remove all of the homes, buildings, and hazardous trees. We will establish a protective zone near the beachfront with no changes happening in that area for the time being. This work will begin immediately, and our hope is to have it wrapped up by mid-November. In this time period, you may feel some disturbance from excavators and dump trucks as they remove the houses. All work is to be carried out within the appropriate timeframes under City of Kelowna bylaws. 

Over the next several months, we will be planning what we might do with the site. The first step in this process is to rezone the properties to VC1 zoning. All of the existing neighbourhood already carries this VC1 designation except for our 2 lots and 3848 Capozzi Road. Our intent is to submit this application to the City in early November. 

Beyond rezoning, we have several ideas for the site but have not yet landed on “the one”. As we progress through the planning stages and have more to share, we will do our best to keep you informed.
